Tamimi Markets formed a joint venture with Japan’s Mitsui & Co. and Italian agricultural technology provider Zero SRL to develop the Kingdom’s first smart farms

Job Description: The project involved a turnkey contract covering complete earthworks, structural, infrastructural, and MEP works for a total area of 7500 m², with a built-up area of approximately 6850 m². My role encompassed various responsibilities from the project's inception. This included collaborating with the technology provider to define the facility, preparing cost plans for both the concept and design phases, and coordinating with designers throughout the process. I was also responsible for managing the tendering process, evaluating the scope of work completed by contractors, other Consultants and overseeing their activities on-site while reporting to the Regional Manager and Project Director. Additionally, I handled the procurement and installation of the cold storage facility, reviewed and approved the mechanical designs, and ensured thorough testing and commissioning of the project.
